Here are the instructions to join "Google Classroom".
1. Have your child log into their drive- The username and password are in their agenda. Most of them have it memorized.
2. Click on the dotted square at the top right hand corner.
3. Click on classroom.
4. Click on I am a student
5 Click on the plus sign.
6. Put in the class code. 6jdsqxm
7. Click join.

I Miss You!!!
Hello families and kiddos. I miss you and hope you enjoyed some family time during March Break. We had a virtual staff meeting today to discuss the next steps in your child's learning. I will be setting up "Google Classroom" today, and will give you the code and instructions on how to join tomorrow. In the mean time, the Ministry has put out a link for free online learning.

Math--New Learning Goals
We are learning to...
-Estimate, measure, and record length, height, and distance, using standard units (e.g., centimetre, metre, kilometre).
-Draw items using a ruler, given specific lengths in centimetres (e.g., draw a pencil that is 5 cm long).
-Estimate, measure, and record the perimeter of two-dimensional shapes, through investigation using standard units (e.g., estimate, measure, and record the perimeter of your notebook).
-Estimate, measure (e.g., using centimetre grid paper, array), and record area (e.g., if a row of 10 connecting cubes is approximately the width of a book, skip counting down the cover of the book with the row of cubes is one way one to determine the area of the book cover).
-Compare standard units of length (e.g., centimetre, metre, kilometre ) (e.g., centimetre, metre, kilometre) (e.g., centimetres are smaller than metres), and select and justify the most appropriate standard unit to measure length.
-Compare and order objects on the basis of linear measurements in centimetres and/or metres.
-Describe, through investigation using grid paper, the relationship between the size of unit of areas and the number of units needed to cover a surface.
